Salmon turns super golden in a shiny honey garlic sauce. Cooks super fast, so you’ve got an eye-catching main in no time.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ For Cooking and Garnish

01 - 30 ml olive oil
02 - Chopped green onions, for garnish

→ Glaze

03 - 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
04 - 30 ml low-sodium soy sauce
05 - 60 ml honey

→ Main

06 - 4 salmon fillets with skin on

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Right after removing the skillet from the burner, pour the rest of the glaze on top of the salmon. Toss on some green onions. That’s it, you’re ready to eat.
02 - Flip the fillets gently, brush them with half your honey garlic mix, and keep cooking for another 3 to 4 minutes. You're good to go when the fish pulls apart easily and hits 63°C inside.
03 - Get your oil hot in a big non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Put the salmon in skin first and leave it alone for 4 minutes, so the skin goes crispy and golden.
04 - Mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl with a whisk. Keep this handy for glazing in the pan.
05 - Give the salmon a rinse in cool water. The drier you get it with paper towels, the crispier the skin will be.

# Extra Tips and Tricks:

01 - If you want deeper flavor, let salmon soak in the glaze for half an hour before you cook. Dab them dry again so the skin crisps.
02 - Maple syrup works instead of honey if you like a different kind of sweetness.
03 - Stick with fresh garlic if you can. Jarred types just aren't as punchy.
04 - For a zingier, less sweet coating, cook down the honey with some lemon juice.
