# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Garlic Bread

01 - 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
02 - 1 teaspoon garlic salt
03 - 115 grams butter, left out to soften
04 - 1 French bread loaf

→ Sloppy Joe Mixture

05 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika
06 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
08 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 15 grams Worcestershire sauce
10 - 22 grams yellow mustard
11 - 13 grams brown sugar
12 - 180 grams ketchup
13 - 225 grams tomato sauce
14 - 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
15 - 75 grams diced yellow onion
16 - 50 grams green bell pepper, seeded and diced
17 - 450 grams ground beef

→ Cheese Topping

18 - 100 grams cheddar cheese, shredded
19 - 100 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Let it cool for a minute or two. Then slice each half into pieces, making sure the cheese stays gooey and hot. Dig in while it’s fresh.
02 - Slide the loaded bread into your oven. Bake for about 12–14 minutes. Keep an eye out—the cheese should bubble and look a little brown at the edges.
03 - Heap the hot sloppy joe filling evenly over both sides of the bread. Throw a good layer of mozzarella and cheddar on top.
04 - Toss in your tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire, black pepper, salt, onion powder, and paprika. Set the heat low and let it bubble for 6 to 8 minutes, so it thickens up.
05 - Get a big skillet hot on medium-high. Crumble in the beef and cook it for about 6–8 minutes until it loses its pink. Stir in onion, green pepper, and garlic. Fry everything for a few more minutes till the veggies soften. Pour off any extra grease.
06 - Cut your bread lengthwise. Lay the cut sides up on the lined tray. Mix your soft butter with garlic salt and Italian herbs, then spread it all over both halves.
07 - Fire up your oven to 175°C. Cover a baking sheet with a silicone mat or baking paper. Set it aside for later.

# Extra Tips and Tricks:

01 - Garlic bread stands up to saucy toppings without getting soggy, and gives a nice crunch.
02 - Using both cheddar and mozzarella makes the top gooey but still super flavorful.
03 - Want extra crunch? Toast your bread before you add anything.
