# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Sandwich

01 - 2 bagels
02 - 2 slices American cheese
03 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
05 - 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
06 - 4 large eggs, whisked
07 - 225 grams shaved beef steak
08 - 1 small onion, sliced thin
09 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Sauce

10 - 0.25 teaspoon dried dill
11 - 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
12 - 120 millilitres mayonnaise

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Dig in while everything’s still hot. Add lettuce, tomato, or pickles if that’s your thing.
02 - Grab the bagels and slather the homemade sauce on both sides. Lay some scrambled eggs on the bottom halves, pile on steak, onions, melted cheese, then close up each bagel.
03 - Get the bagels crispy, either tossing them in a toaster or sliding them on the hot pan until they’re just golden.
04 - With the last bit of butter, cover the pan and cook the seasoned beef spread out in a single layer. Stir now and then for about 2–3 minutes till it’s browned and cooked through. Slide the onions back in, mix, split the meat into two heaps, then melt a slice of cheese on top of each pile.
05 - Throw the shaved steak into a bowl. Drench it with the Worcestershire and sprinkle over the Montreal steak seasoning. Mix everything up so the beef’s coated nicely.
06 - Pop another spoon of butter in the same skillet. Pour the eggs in and scramble them gently over medium heat just until they’re set but still creamy. Split in half for two servings.
07 - Let a tablespoon of butter melt in the pan on medium. Drop in the sliced onions and salt. Stir once in a while as they cook for 5 to 7 minutes, letting them get soft and golden. Move them out of the skillet and set aside.
08 - Mix up the mayonnaise, mustard, and dried dill in a little bowl. Pop the bowl in the fridge until you’re ready for it. This makes the sauce taste even better.

# Extra Tips and Tricks:

01 - Don’t cook the steak too long. It’ll be tender and taste way better if you keep it quick.
02 - Caramelised onions make this sandwich so much richer and tastier.
03 - Toasting keeps the bagels from getting soggy—they’ll have great crunch, too.
