01 -
Let those taco sticks sit for a bit. Then grab one and enjoy. Waiting a few minutes helps them hold together and keeps you from burning your mouth.
02 -
Slide the baking tray into the oven. Let them bake 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp. Keep an eye on them after 12 minutes, so they don't get too dark.
03 -
Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley together. Paint each taco stick with lots of this buttery mix so they come out flavorful and nicely browned.
04 -
Set the rolled sticks seam-side down on your lined tray, making sure they aren't touching each other.
05 -
Roll the dough up around the fillings and really pinch those edges so nothing leaks out while baking.
06 -
Spoon a bit of beef onto each dough rectangle. Pop half a cheese stick on top. Don't stuff them too full or it's tough to seal.
07 -
Roll the dough out on a floured counter until it's a big rectangle. Cut it up into 10 small rectangles—you can use a pizza cutter or sharp knife for this.
08 -
Add the taco seasoning to the browned beef. Stir until mixed well and the beef is nicely coated. Remove the pan from heat and leave it aside for now.
09 -
Put your skillet on medium heat and toss in the beef. Break it up as it cooks until browned all the way through. Drain off fat so you don't end up with super greasy sticks.
10 -
Heat your oven up to 200°C. Throw some parchment on a baking sheet so nothing sticks later.
