Mango Citrus Drink (Printer-Friendly Layout)

Icy mango with a splash of lemon juice makes this sweet-tart drink that’s great when it’s hot out with friends.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

01 - Fresh mint sprigs to top off, totally optional
02 - Juicy lemon slices for a pretty finish (if you're into it)
03 - As many ice cubes as you need
04 - 950 ml chilled water, split up
05 - 200 g regular sugar—add more or less if you want
06 - 240 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
07 - 2 soft, sweet mangoes—skin off and chopped

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - If you're ready to hand these out, fill your glasses with ice. Pop in a lemon slice and a couple mint leaves if you like, then pour the lemonade on top.
02 - Stick your mango-lemon mix in the fridge for thirty minutes at least. This makes it cold and lets the flavors come together.
03 - Go ahead and add the rest of the cold water now. Try a sip and see if you want it sweeter or more sour—add more sugar or lemon juice as you like.
04 - Dump the lemon juice and the sugar into your mango liquid. Stir it up well so the sugar totally disappears.
05 - Push the blended mango through a fine sieve into a big pitcher. Scoop and press it so you get all the good stuff out—toss out what’s left in the sieve.
06 - Toss the diced mango in your blender with one cup (240 ml) of cold water. Whiz it until you don’t see any chunks left.

# Extra Tips and Tricks:

01 - If you want fizz, just swap some or all of the water for cold bubbly water.
02 - Try tossing in basil or a pinch of salt for extra taste—just blend them up with the mango.
